Break-in at Roots101 -- Bonsai Stolen!

Sometime on the evening of Sunday, June 29th, or Monday, June 30th, someone hopped the back fence of our shop, ROOTS101 in Taft. We are now missing several specimen bonsai valued at hundreds of dollars.

We know this community can come together, as we've seen it before, and we're asking for your help.

We think this person must have been interested in bonsai, as they selected some of the oldest, most expensive trees. One of the missing bonsai is a large evergreen hemlock that stands about 3.5' tall in a large brown rectangular dish, approx 2'x1'. Our back parking lot was locked up, so they had to haul the trees out to Hwy 101 at some point.

If you know of anyone who has recently acquired a new, very large bonsai, please contact ROOTS101 at #541.996.7668, or the local police. This is an outdoor tree, so it should be easy to spot!  We shouldn't have to mention that this business is our livelihood, and it is terribly unfortunate to be taken advantage of in such a way. Thanks for your help!

Owners ROOTS101
