Roundabouts
report
Stephanie is working on the celebration of honor the last weekend of September.
The roundabouts are proposing to try a fundraiser to pay for the flags
by taking out the bushes which are actually blocking the view of the memorial
on 51st. and sponsoring bricks to pave the area. They are still searching
for a flag to replace the tattered one. Stephanie will be approaching
the city about this.
From last month:
Any suggestions, or volunteers, BAMA would like to do something for the
Vets during the celebration of honor. The Roundabouts are thinking of
doing the children's booth again, with games and kite making, does anyone
else have a suggestion? Tom mentioned that the Flag could be changed and
wondered if anyone knew where to get another flag. Ed asked if the State
still gives away flags, They would like to have a rededication ceremony.
Last
chance to check your business information on the TAFT walking map
It is time to make sure that your information is accurate both on the
Web and the walking Map. Please check
online to verify that your data is correct. We would like to have the
Map printed before the season begins. JB made some suggestions that we
get ads for the back of the Map.
